American philanthropist and businessman Mark Elliot Zuckerberg. He is the executive chairman, chief executive officer, and controlling shareholder of Meta Platforms (previously Facebook, Inc.), the parent company of the social media platform Facebook, which he co-founded.

In addition to nominating Zuckerberg as a finalist many times, Time named him one of the most important persons in the world in 2008, 2011, 2016, and 2019. In 2010, he was voted Time Person of the Year, the year Facebook surpassed half a billion members. Zuckerberg had the tenth position on Forbes’ list of the World’s Most Powerful People in December 2016.

Based on its Emu picture-synthesis algorithm, Meta launched “Imagine with Meta AI,” a free standalone AI image creator website. The AI model, which can produce a unique image given a textual request, was trained by Meta using 1.1 billion publicly viewable Facebook and Instagram photographs. Previously, only messaging and social networking applications like Instagram offered Meta’s version of this technology, which used the same data.

In general, Meta’s model produces quite realistic visuals, albeit not nearly as good as Midjourney’s. It may not be as adept at handling complicated cues as DALL-E 3, but it is still superior than Stable Diffusion XL. It appears to have very poor text rendering capabilities and produces inconsistent results when handling various media outputs such as pen and ink, watercolors, and needlework. People in its pictures appear to come from a variety of ethnic origins. In terms of AI image creation, it appears to be about average these days.
