OpenAI Corporation has announced that it is now taking sign-ups for “ChatGPT Professional,” an experimental paid version of its ChatGPT chatbot.
According to the corporation, ChatGPT Professional will be “always available,” will offer “quick replies” without limits, and will give users “at least” twice as many replies per day compared to the free version of the chatbot.
OpenAI also stated that, as a part of its effort to monetize ChatGPT, it is currently in talks with Microsoft about integrating its products into the latter’s proprietary software. In return, Microsoft would provide OpenAI with $10 billion in funding, as well as processing power to train its AI systems.
