The Sandbox partners with Renault Korea for Metaverse support

Virtual world platform The Sandbox has announced its partnership with the South Korean division of French automobile manufacturer Renault.
The collaboration aims to develop new ways to experience automobiles in the Metaverse and provide users with ample virtual space entertainment.
As Renault intents to establish its Metaverse presence, The Sandbox Korea will provide it with marketing support and help organize brand partnerships within the platform. The companies plan to build a long-term collaboration strategy, which will primarily focus on new digital-native generations.
“This partnership is an excellent example of a collaboration The Sandbox can develop without any industrial boundaries. We are able to introduce new types of experiences that combine automobiles and digital assets in The Sandbox,”said the CEO of The Sandbox Korea, Cindy Lee.
As of today, numerous car manufacturers have introduced their Web3 marketing strategies. In April this year, Lamborghini auctioned a one-of-one NFT of the Last Aventador Coupé, a never-released-before supercar created in collaboration with DJ Steve Aoki and Vogue Singapore Metaverse editor Krista Kim. In May, German carmakers Volkswagen and Audi brought in their Virtual Reality plans and tech innovations.
Korean manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company has also presented its virtual mobility experience, developed in partnership with Metaverse platform Zepeto.
