The U.S. division of electronic giant Samsung has launched its official Discord server.
The company continues to expand its presence in the Web3 sphere. Previously, it introduced “Samsung 837X”, an immersive Metaverse experience within Decentraland, and “Samsung Superstar Galaxy” on Roblox.
Now the company aims to create a virtual space for gamers, content creators, and fans to connect.
“Virtual communication platforms, like Discord, enable us to cultivate a community where both current enthusiasts and brand new fans can unite,” said the CMO of U.S. Samsung, Michelle Crossan-Matos.
Samsung plans to reward early adopters with digital and physical products and special promotions. To become one, individuals need to log in to Samsung’s Discord server by June 10.
More than that, from June 7 to 10 Samsung will randomly select users for daily product giveaways.
The participants of the Discord community will be eligible for access to hybrid events by Samsung. These will take place at the 837 Washington Street store in New York City and virtually. The company also plans to issue NFTs and organize exclusive giveaways in the future.
According to room statistics, almost 150,500 individuals joined the Samsung US Discord server.
