NFT project Cool Cats announces partnership with Habbo, new CEO, and more


The Trust Project is a worldwide group of news organizations working to establish transparency standards.

Blue-chip NFT project Cool Cats has made many great announcements in the past few days. First of all, the project finally launched its long-awaited partnership with Habbo, a twenty-year-old online game.

The collaboration brings users the opportunity to play the pixel game using their NFT avatars.

On September 19, Cool Cats and Cool Pets holders received special in-game items designed for the community, including clothing, badges, and backpacks. NFT holders also got access to the exclusive in-game Cool Cats Room, where they can communicate with other players. 

Additionally, Cool Cats and Habbo plan to introduce furniture non-fungible tokens in early October.

A day later, Cool Cats launched the minting of the project’s branded “Cool Comics” book. 

Cool Cats and Cool Pets NFT holders that possess 75,000 $MILK (approximately $23 at the time of writing) can purchase the Comic NFT via the Cool Cats shop. The minting is open until September 27, 8 PM ET.

Following this, on September 21 the project announced its new Chief Executive Officer, Stephen Teglas, who has more than twenty years of experience in building brands and driving profitability. He has previously worked for Disney, RECUR, and Warner Bros. Cool Cats fans can discover more about Stephen’s experience and plans in the Town Hall recording

Cool Cats is a collection of 9,999 profile-picture-styled NFTs. Its current floor price is 3 ETH (approximately $3,870 at the moment of writing), and 112.6K ETH of volume was traded. 

Earlier this month, the project partnered with Animoca Brands’ subsidiary mobile play-to-earn game GAMEE. On September 8, the Hexa-based numbered tile game dubbed “Cool Cats Combinations” launched on mobile gaming platform Arc8.
