Space and Time Revolutionizes Data Engineering and Analytics with GPT-4 Integration

Space and Time has partnered with Open AI to incorporate the power of GPT-4 into its platform, empowering developers, analysts, and data engineers to effortlessly generate queries, data pipelines, and dashboards using natural language prompts.

Space and Time Revolutionizes Data Engineering and Analytics with GPT-4 Integration

Space and Time is a hybrid (HTAP) data warehouse that seamlessly combines low-latency transactional queries and scalable analytics in a single cluster. What sets Space and Time apart is its groundbreaking verification process, Proof of SQL, which cryptographically ensures the accuracy and integrity of each query, guaranteeing tamperproof results.

Traditionally, data analysis has required expertise in Structured Query Language (SQL), a specialized programming language for managing relational databases. Building data pipelines, which consolidate data from multiple sources into a single database, demands significant technical knowledge, resources, and time investments.

With Space and Time, business leaders can unlock valuable insights from their data without the need for additional expertise or resources. The integration of Space and Time with OpenAI streamlines the complexities of data engineering and analytics, enabling anyone to effortlessly generate automatic pipelines, interactive dashboards, and SQL queries using natural language prompts.

“The integration of AI-powered SQL is a game-changer for businesses with lean analytics teams. By leveraging OpenAI, Space and Time drastically reduces the time-to-value for building data pipelines, analytics dashboards, and writing SQL queries. Our users can now generate SQL or Python scripts from simple prompts, ask natural-language questions about their data, receive accurate visualizations of the answers, and effortlessly integrate new datasets simply by conversing with our chatbot. Whether it’s indexed blockchain data or off-chain data specific to your business, discovering, querying, and building on that data is just a conversation away,”

explained Scott Dykstra, CTO and Co-founder of Space and Time.

The Space and Time Studio serves as the next-generation data frontend, providing users with a user-friendly interface to interact with the Space and Time data warehouse. Users can now ask Houston, Space and Time’s chatbot, any question about their data from any source, receive a SQL query along with the result, and publish it to APIs, dashboards, and ML/AI models with a single click. Houston is powered by ChainML, a trusted partner of Space and Time.

Ron Bodkin, CEO and Founder of ChainML, expressed his excitement about the initial success, stating, “We are thrilled to empower Houston with our open-source framework for building AI agent-driven applications, incorporating intent detection. Houston delivers industry-leading AI capabilities to users, including technical documentation support, code generation, self-service analytics, research, and seamless navigation powered by a conversational interface.”

Space and Time ensures enterprise-grade security, privacy, and access controls as standard features. Enterprise customers can deploy the platform on the Space and Time decentralized network or their private intranet. To safeguard sensitive data, all information is encrypted in-database, in-transit, and in-use, while users can fine-tune role-based access controls for their tables.

Moreover, the Space and Time data warehouse comes preloaded with indexed blockchain data from major chains such as Ethereum, Polygon, BNB Chain, Sui, and Avalanche. Users can seamlessly combine indexed blockchain data with their own off-chain datasets in a single query, verified by Proof of SQL.

Space and Time entered beta testing in April, and interested users can sign up for beta access at https://www.spaceandtime.io/access-beta.
