Io.net Partners With OpenLedger To Advance Decentralized AI Model Development

In Brief

io.net has partnered with OpenLedger, allowing the latter to leverage io.net’s compute layer to improve the training and refinement of its AI models.

Io.net Partners With OpenLedger To Advance Decentralized AI Model Development

GPU Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network, io.net, announced a partnership with OpenLedger, a blockchain platform specializing in high-quality, verifiable data for AI applications. Through this collaboration, OpenLedger will utilize io.net’s compute layer to enhance the training and refinement of its AI models.

“We’re excited to be partnering with OpenLedger, whose data blockchain for AI provides Web3 builders with decentralized datasets they can trust,” said Tausif Ahmad, VP of Business Development at io.net, in a written statement. “With io.net providing the GPU compute, OpenLedger now has an infrastructure provider it can rely on to scale its AI models and unlock new use cases that will reinforce its status as an innovative provider of decentralized AI models,” he added.

By leveraging io.net’s distributed GPU network, OpenLedger gains access to the computational power necessary to accelerate the development of its AI models. These models, built using OpenLedger’s datasets, will empower developers to create smarter and more efficient AI-driven decentralized applications (dApps).

Access to io.net’s GPU infrastructure will also support the inference and hosting of these AI models, optimizing them for both scalability and performance. This capability strengthens OpenLedger’s standing as a reliable provider of high-quality datasets, driving advancements at the intersection of blockchain and AI.

OpenLedger Expands Operations And Explores New AI Use Cases Via Strategic Partnership

The collaboration offers OpenLedger a cost-effective and scalable computing solution, allowing it to expand its operations without the financial and operational constraints posed by traditional centralized cloud providers. With io.net’s decentralized GPU infrastructure, OpenLedger can process larger datasets, scale up its AI model development, and achieve new efficiencies—pushing the boundaries of decentralized AI innovation.

Furthermore, io.net’s GPU resources will enable OpenLedger to explore new use cases for AI models across various applications powered by its curated datanets and user-contributed data. By ensuring these models are fine-tuned for reliability and scalability, OpenLedger enhances its role as a trailblazer in fostering a decentralized ecosystem for trustworthy AI. This partnership aligns with OpenLedger’s mission to create an open and collaborative data environment, advancing the adoption of blockchain-based AI solutions.

“Our collaboration with io.net unlocks the full potential of our high-quality datanets, utilizing the contributed data to create specialized AI models,” stated the OpenLedger team in a written statement. “By leveraging io.net’s GPU infrastructure, our protocol users will be able to fine-tune AI models more efficiently, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. This brings us closer to our vision of creating a decentralized, transparent AI ecosystem that fosters collaboration through data sharing and the development of trustworthy, explainable models,” the team added.
