DressX introduces its first free design for Meta Avatar Store
Digital fashion marketplace DressX has announced the launch of its first free-of-charge item for Mark Zuckerberg’s Meta Avatar Store.
DressX launched its debut collection “Metacloset” for Meta in July.. Following the successful release, the company introduces the new version of its signature flower bucket hat, one of the first designs that came out on DressX platform in 2020. It’s worth noting that as of August 25, more than one million users have tried it on.
The bucket hat will be available for free on Meta’s platforms: Facebook, Messenger, and Instagram. Differently to the original style, this time the item comes in a range of colours. This month’s fashion drop will also include five full-body outfits. The items, all priced at $2.99, come in a digital-only format.

Said the co-founders of DressX, Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova.
Meanwhile, the startup plans to launch a collection for Meta every month. However, DressX is not the only virtual fashion multi brand to be featured on Meta Avatar Store. Luxury fashion brands Prada, Thom Browne, and Balenciaga also participate in this initiative, strategically expanding their presence in the Web3 space.
