Backed By Animoca Brands TinyTap Revolutionizes EdTech with AI and Web3

TinyTap, an edtech platform and subsidiary of Animoca Brands, announced new AI features and strategic partnerships aimed at reshaping educational content development. Drawing over a decade of data encompassing an extensive repository of games, activities, and play interactions, the platform’s AI rapidly constructs tailored learning experiences for children.

“AI is an imaginative tool, creators can leverage this technology to make their games more exciting for learners. If designing isn’t their strong suit, they can use the help of the TinyTap AI to deliver a formatting solution for their content,”

Yogev Shelly, CEO of TinyTap told Metaverse Post.

The platform’s innovations include an AI-powered “Prompt-to-Game” feature, integration with Web3 through Open Campus, and plans to introduce AI tools for “Practice Anywhere.”

With the advancements, TinyTap seeks to empower educators, parents, and creators in crafting engaging learning materials for children, marking the beginning of interactive education.

TinyTap Prompt-to-Text/Image AI Feature

Scheduled for release in September 2023, the “Prompt-to-Text/Image” functionality empowers creators with dynamic visuals, enhancing the appeal and efficacy of their educational games. The tool will streamline the incorporation of captivating imagery into learning content, fostering a more engaging environment.

Shelly explained that the new AI feature brings topics to life in an interactive game, so learning new things doesn’t necessarily require more reading. If a child wants to learn about forests, they can follow their curiosity from forests to trees, to photosynthesis, to the water cycle, and so on.

“The barrier for discovering what’s next and the onus for extracting information from large blocks of text is removed by formatting topics into TinyTap games. We do so by leveraging a decade of learning architecture on TinyTap. The TinyTap AI games will first introduce the topic of your choice with informative slides and then test your knowledge with activities to ensure you truly understand,” Shelly said.

TinyTap Collaboration With Open Campus Protocol Brings Web3 into Education

A new partnership with Open Campus Protocol in late 2023 adds something new to education. It lets people with Open Campus NFT and EDU tokens create TinyTap games as special NFTs. The protocol brings money into education and ensures teachers can share earnings fairly, which helps them financially.

“Of course, with the EDU token, which is Open Campus’s native token, we aim to establish the self-minting function of our flagship Publisher NFTs (PNFTs). Educators will be able to autonomously sell and trade co-publishing rights to educational content they’ve created and owned. This establishes a market for educational support that flows both ways to help the teachers and PNFT holders,” the CEO of TinyTap shared.

TinyTap AI will significantly lower the entry barriers for everyone interested in creating educational content, Shelly told Metaverse Post. Aspiring creators can now create high-quality content much more quickly with the new TinyTap AI tools.

“We are already seeing a very diverse range of content being produced by the Open Campus community, and we expect many more creators will join our AI journey as they get to experience the benefits of creating with TinyTap AI tools and eventually monetize and earn with their Publisher NFTs,”

he said.

Practice Anywhere AI Tool for Easily Accessible Education

In 2024, TinyTap plans to introduce powerful “Practice Anywhere” AI tools. These tools let parents and teachers turn things like YouTube videos into fun learning activities.

With sound and text technology, TinyTap will create games that help kids learn outside of school. These efforts show TinyTap’s commitment to making education more open and exciting for everyone.

“Every student is unique and has their own learning style; with AI, content can be adjusted dynamically based on the students’ real-time feedback to produce the best learning outcomes.”

Blockchain giant Animoca Brands has been a long-term supporter of TinyTap and edtech ever since the investment into TinyTap in 2015.

“Animoca Brands and TinyTap see the exciting possibilities brought about by AI to not only support the content creation process but also create highly adaptive and personalized learning experiences for all students,” Shelly added.
