Layer 2 blockchain platform Solayer, developed within the Solana ecosystem, has introduced InfiniSVM, a hardware-accelerated blockchain infrastructure engineered to support extremely high performance. The system is designed to deliver transaction throughput exceeding 1 million transactions per second (TPS), with minimal latency to support the demands of decentralized applications. Currently, Solayer operates at more than 340,000 TPS in its development environment, with ongoing optimizations intended to address existing performance constraints identified during the devnet phase.
InfiniSVM introduces a notable advancement in blockchain architecture by incorporating high-throughput processing, near-instantaneous transaction finality, and compatibility with the Solana virtual machine. This compatibility facilitates a straightforward migration process for projects already built on Solana. In addition, InfiniSVM offers a developer-centric framework that supports familiar tools and infrastructure, aimed at accelerating deployment and innovation within the decentralized application space.
InfiniSVM offers complete compatibility with the Solana Virtual Machine (SVM), enabling developers to deploy current Solana-based programs with little to no modifications in code.
