One issue of the NFT netted Grimes $5.8 million. This collection was a collection of 10 works of art created in collaboration with the singer’s brother Mac Boucher, who had already helped Grimes in previous works. The art itself is very futuristic and dystopian, like most of Grimes’ work: a cherub piercing the globe is depicted on every part of the collection.
The Grimes collection finally brings together art and the opportunity to make money from it. The singer’s tokens are interesting in that some items have many copies, while others are one of a kind, and in the future they can acquire a truly priceless nature. Already, a unique piece of the Grimes collection has been sold for more than $600,000.
