Gil Penchina was an American manager of businesses. He was formerly vice president and general manager of eBay’s international division in addition to serving as CEO of Wikia Inc. He attended Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and graduated in 1997.

Gil Penchina is also well-known for his investments as a business angel. He started Flight VC, an angel investment syndicate on AngelList, and has made investments in several startups, including PayPal, LinkedIn, Ripple, and many more.

The Pryze protocol aims to automate the majority of sweepstakes operation and compliance expenses while enabling the creation and administration of contests through a decentralized, secure system.
