NFT marketplace LimeWire announces a partnership with music stars Travis Barker, Nicky Jam, Gramatik, Brandy, 7 Aurelius, Elijah Blake, Aitch, Maino, and Dillon Francis.Â
The first collection will feature footage of Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker who will issue NFTs of his studio moments. More than that, LimeWire will drop a 1/1 edition NFT that features a 3D model of Barker’s drum kit. The NFT owner might even receive the actual physical kit, and all NFT holders will get a chance to hear Barker’s unreleased song.

“I have always been interested in Web3 and NFTs, so I am pretty stoked to release my first NFT collection and to do it on LimeWire. I hope that my NFT collection will inspire aspiring artists and fans who want to learn about my creative journey and how I make music,” said Travis Barker.Â
Following this release, LimeWire will issue collections by music producer Gramatik on July 10 and by singer Elijah Blake on July 12.
The marketplace was relaunched in March. It features NFT content created by emerging music artists. As of July 7, users can mint NFTs by Soulja Boy, Samuel Herb, and other singers.
In May, LimeWire announced its partnership with Universal Music Group. The two are working on digital music NFTs and music-based projects, aiming to make digital collectibles more accessible to the public.
