How AI Will Shape Our Lives by 2030

In Brief

AI technology could dramatically impact the world by 2030, according to eight experts. It could tackle energy issues, add trillions to the global economy, or wipe out humanity.

AI could change the world by 2030 by helping with the energy crisis, adding trillions to the global economy, or wiping out the human race. Eight AI experts from the US and UK predicted how the technology may change our lives by 2030. The call for regulators to put the lid on AI is growing amid fears that it could lead to mass job losses.

Film Industry

AI technology could soon be able to make entire films. Alpha versions of art generators go from rough approximations to photorealism very quickly, and films are only a matter of time before they are created in real time. The films will be terrible at first, but people will be fascinated by them even when they aren’t very good. AI will get smarter and make movies in just two years. Joe Russo said this last month.

Education

AI could impact the education sector. Dr. Ali said parents could soon have their own personalized AI tutor who could deliver lessons tailored to the children’s needs using augmented reality glasses or robots. AI will have a huge impact on education in the next decade. It can be used to create virtual classrooms that are more immersive and interactive, or it can be used to supplement conventional teaching methods.

Economy

AI could boost the value of the world economy by $15.7 trillion by 2030, or more than the value of India and China combined. Experts from PwC are predicting this trend. The trend of automating products will drive the growth of consumer-driven products. AI will drive increased product variety, with more personalized, attractive, and affordability over time.

Energy

Artificial intelligence could help solve the world’s energy crisis by 2030. The recent energy crisis was caused by the war in Ukraine, which led to blockages on oil imports from Russia and the economic rebound after the Covid pandemic. The future can be good if AI solves the energy crisis. AI will unlock energy by developing nuclear fusion, which uses atoms to make long-lived nuclear waste less harmful. Scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory made a breakthrough in developing this system in 2016.

Healthcare

Dr. Bain believes that artificial intelligence (AI) could be used to predict healthcare problems by 2030. The future of AI will be services built to answer specific needs, compared to current AIs, such as ChatGPT. Bain believes this will be a lot different from the current AIs. AI will be services that directly answer specific needs, such as quickly and easily giving us what we want. This future should not be based on mainstream generative AI, which uses tech to repurpose content.

Heather Delaney, the founder of Gallium Ventures, predicted that care bots like ElliQ could help combat loneliness in older people by learning about their interests and daily routine and interacting with them. It would also remind older people of their day-to-day schedule, helping them not miss any medication. The technology used to monitor and assess the health and well-being of elderly homes and residents will develop over time, with robots becoming more expensive.

AGI

Artificial intelligence could reach human-like intelligence by 2030. A former Google engineer, Ray Kurzweil, warns of this. In 2017, Elon Musk predicted that an AI would have human-level intelligence by 2029. He said this in response to computers breaking even with humans.

AI Threatens

Experts predict that AI could end the human race by 2030. The doomsayers say AI will end the human race by January 1, 2030. Professor Noam Sobel, a researcher at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute in Berkeley, California, who makes frequent public appearances warning about advanced AI, said: “If a powerful AI were to be built, under present conditions, I expect every human, life on Earth, and all biological processes on Earth to die within a short period of time.” The outcome of humanity fighting an advanced superhuman intelligence is a total loss.

A computer program could destroy humanity if its intelligence surpasses humans. Experts say AI could destroy civilization if it has different values and goals than humans. AI could destroy human civilization, but Dr. Hawking warned that it would not do so because we are an “interesting” part of the universe. AI could take off on its own and redesign itself at an increasing rate if humans were limited by biological evolution.
