Stakeholder
What is a Stakeholder?
Any person, entity, or party with an interest in a company and the outcomes of its operations is considered a stakeholder. Employees, clients, shareholders, suppliers, communities, and governments are typical examples of stakeholders. Companies frequently have to make trade-offs while attempting to satisfy a variety of stakeholders, each of whom has varying interests.
Our credo says that, in the end, we want to drive positive change in the lives of our stakeholders and communities across the world, enabling them to rise.

Understanding of the term Stakeholder
Stakeholders exist in every business. These individuals or groups of individuals are those who both influence and are influenced by the business’s decisions and activities. They can be broadly classified as either internal or external stakeholders, and they both have a rightful interest in the company.
Internal Stakeholders:
- Employees
- Owners
- Company’s managers
External Stakeholders:
- Suppliers
- Customers
- Society
- Stockholders
- Government institutions
While internal stakeholders are people or organizations that have a direct, sometimes financial, interest in how a company or project is run, as the project’s and the company’s performance directly affects their financial and professional well-being, they have the largest stake in its success, the people and organizations that are impacted by an organization’s activities but do not directly work with it are known as external stakeholders.
Not every stakeholder has the same goals about how to handle business and what to achive. The owners may not want to increase salaries, even though it is what the workers demand, or for example customer interests may be compromised if product owners see enhancing it as being too expensive.
