Filmustage: AI Platform That Streamlines Film Shooting Processes
In Brief
Filmustage is a program that helps filmmakers and screenwriters visualize and organize their ideas, collaborate with others in real-time, and retell the script.
Filmustage is primarily known for its ability to analyze scripts; for example, the program can highlight characters, locations, costumes, and props in the text. It takes one minute to break a script of 100 scenes into its component parts.
This feature of Filmustage helps filmmakers and screenwriters to easily visualize and organize their ideas, making the pre-production process more efficient and streamlined. Additionally, the program allows users to collaborate with others in real time, making it a valuable tool for team projects.
Filmustage will also be able to retell the script, indicating for each scene how many actors, extras, pieces of equipment, and so on will be needed. Recently, the developers have added new features. Now, the program can create a shooting schedule by calculating the time for work. The program will also remind you of the necessary permissions and security measures if, for example, animals are involved in the shooting.
These new features make Filmustage a comprehensive tool for filmmakers, providing not only a way to organize the production process but also ensuring that all necessary resources and precautions are taken into account. With these capabilities, filmmakers can focus on their creative vision while leaving the logistics to the program.
Recently, the platform founded by people from Belarus received $550,000 in funding from investors. The money will go toward the localization of the program in Spanish, French, and German since the tool is only available in English at the moemnt. The startup also plans to integrate with large marketplaces so the film crew can order the necessary things directly from Filmustage.
