Belgian cartoonist and comics artist Jeroom Snelders has released an NFT collection. Snelders is one of the most well-known Belgian cartoonists, noted for his signature surrealist comedy. Comics lovers can frequently see his works on the pages of Humo magazine.
“Poepen in Ibiza” is Snelders’s first-ever NFT collection. It features 40 artworks, some of which were originally created for Humo and Reddit.

The collection was developed in partnership with Venly marketplace (formerly Arkane Network). The peer-to-peer platform provides NFT tools, market solutions for primary and secondary NFT sales, and wallet services. Venly is an artist-friendly platform — its creators receive 10% of royalties every time NFTs are resold on the secondary market.
“NFTs are a great tool for digital artists because they allow them to continue to earn as their artwork becomes more successful. With Venly, artists have access to incredibly user-friendly tools to engage with their audience,” said Venly CMO Yan Ketelers.
Snelders’s works are available on auction via Catawaki through June 12. Lucky winners will receive comics NFTs in their Venly wallets. As a bonus, Snelders will personally deliver signed physical prints of the artworks to NFT holders.
