Vayner3 Partners with Whisky Brand Crown Royal to Release a Gamified NFT Experience
In Brief
Vayner3 and whisky brand Crown Royal release an NFT-powered gamified experience
U.S.-based residents can participate and win free NFTs, a Crown Royal cape, or a pair of one-of-one Crown Royal sneakers.
Gary Vaynerchuk’s web3 consultancy agency Vayner3 partners with Canadian whisky brand Crown Royal. The latter is the sponsor of the National Football League, which presented its campaign during Super Bowl LVII. In addition to the ad, Crown Royal released a themed NFT-powered game called “Crown Royal Chain of Gratitude.” The scope of the experience is to extend the “chain of gratitude” by inviting as many friends as possible. To start playing, collectors can mint the “Tokens of Gratitude” or join someone else’s existing chain.
It’s worth noting that all participants will get a free NFT featuring either a Gratitude Crown or a Gratitude Bag. Individuals that create the longest chain of gratitude will receive exclusive prizes: a Crown Royal cape or even a pair of one-of-one Crown Royal sneakers.
Notably, the experience is only available for United States residents over 21 years old. Individuals wishing to participate in the challenge must connect with their phones by scanning a QR code on a dedicated website. The game is open through March 13.
On a side note, the gamified experience is Crown Royal’s second NFT release. In November 2022, the company launched “That Deserves a Crown,” an initiative that enabled the brand’s fans to mint free NFTs and claim the Crown Royal purple bags.
“Our brand prides itself on celebrating the generosity and selflessness of the military and hospitality communities, and we’re thrilled we could continue that work on-the-ground in Phoenix, where the city came together to put on a series of beautiful events this past weekend,”
said the Vice President of Crown Royal, Nicky Heckles.
This is not the first time that Vayner3 has collaborated with an alcohol brand. The agency has previously partnered with the scotch whisky brand Johnnie Walker, which belongs to Diageo, just like Crown Royal.
