TONX and TON Foundation Successfully Conclude “The Open League Summer Bootcamp,” Announce Asia’s Largest TON Summit
June 07, 2024 — TONX, Asia’s earliest TON Venture studio, together with the TON Foundation, successfully concluded “The Open League Summer Bootcamp” in Hong Kong and Taipei on June 02, 2024. The event attracted hundreds of developers from across the APAC region, with 12 teams participating in the competition demo showcase. Special guests at the bootcamp included Anton Trunov, Tact Compiler Lead of TON Foundation, and Alex Golev from the TON DevRel Team.
The bootcamp served as a bridging course for the TONX Accelerator Program, providing selected teams with the opportunity to advance to the next stage of the accelerator. These teams can receive up to $5 million in ecosystem rewards, gain exposure on the international stage, and receive market, technical, and business support from other TON project founders and teams. The first phase of the TONX Accelerator Program closed for applications on June 3rd, receiving over 70 submissions, with GameFi (32.5%), SocialFi (22.5%), and AI (12.5%) being the main categories.
A highlight of the bootcamp is Dr. Awesome Doge, a founding member of the TON core development team and co-founder of TONX, unveiling the latest TON roadmap at the event. He encouraged developers to use this training opportunity to develop diverse projects that support the growth of the TON ecosystem. He also announced that TONX will join forces with the TON Foundation to sponsor “The Open Summit”, the largest TON event in Asia, an official side event taking place from August 6-8 at the Asia Blockchain Summit.
The collaboration between Telegram and TON is mutually beneficial, with Telegram providing a user base of over 900 million people and the TON blockchain offering robust infrastructure support. This synergy makes accessing Mini App games through Telegram easy and enjoyable, perfectly aligning with the preferences of Telegram users. With Telegram’s vast user base bringing immense business opportunities and unlimited potential, TON recently surged to 7.8 USD on June 05, reaching a record high and closely approaching the status of the 9th largest token.
