Revive Overworld Is The Revival Strategy For Web3 Gaming

Leisure is the word associated with the gaming industry. The perception is that even the most miniature gaming is to pass time. However, this dynamic, ever-evolving ecosystem is inching closer to magical realism as revolutionary transformation occurs through Web3 technology.

The allure gaming holds for 3.38 billion gamers worldwide is not that of a pastime. It’s a market that generates $184 billion through in-game purchases.

Blockchain games have been shunned by traditional gamers. Poor gameplay, latency, and hyper-financialization have been considered huge problems. This requires a creative strategy and technical know-how to fix these issues.

Enter Revive, a gaming platform that empowers gamers to flex their creative muscle and create no-code games with AAA-quality graphics and gameplay.

Revive Overworld

Revive is the creation of gamers and developers who were looking to expand the possibilities of the shared metaverse. It’s a platform where two iterations of the Internet—Web2 and 3—bridge for players to bring their ideas to life with a suite of powerful tools.

For Revive Overworld creators, the game is what the gamer says. Players can build, battle, buy and trade in-game assets without the hassle of centralized gaming studios owning their digital assets. It offers a no-code game maker and asset creator tools that allows the gamer to create worlds the public can explore and make into a revenue stream.

Powered by Web3 technology, the ecosystem includes a standalone shooter game called Strifest; a game host and manager named Realms; a game maker; an asset creator; and a marketplace. It’s an entire suite of products that vest the ownership of games, the narrative, and the frontiers they may explore on the gamer. Player engagement is the core of Revive Overworld. No more waiting for well-funded game studios to develop your dream game; the dream is now at the gamer’s fingertips.

The platform’s vision is to solve the problems that exist in traditional and Web3 games, including low visual quality, latency, player experience, and monetization models.

The World of Revive Overworld

Strifest

Strifest is Revive Overworld’s first game. It’s a high-mobility, team-based arena shooter game that merges the best of sandbox and shooter genres. The gamers’ playground is where action, creativity, and competition spur team battles. The game was developed using Unreal Engine 5, the best real-time creation tool in the market.

Though built with mechanics similar to Fortnite, PUBG, COD, Minecraft, and Farlight84, the game introduces new gaming mechanics that allow players to shape the terrain and build defenses that enhance strategy and engagement. Designed with multiplayer dynamics, sixteen players, divided into four teams of 4 players each, will battle it out on the Strifest islands. Players can eliminate opponents and deny them the chance of revival.

Characters will be able to shape their play style, curating their own set of abilities like never before. Generic characters that exist in other games don’t cut it in Strifest. Building mechanics will also allow players to build their defense systems to repel opponents, making the game a construction site and a battleground.

Realms

Server setup and maintenance costs can compress margins for game developers. Realms is the virtual world within the Revive metaverse that is purpose-built for players to host and manage games and experiences.

This allows players to build using no-code game maker and asset creator tools. Games created can then be accessed by the public, opening a potential way for revenue generation.

Game Maker And Asset Creator

While other gaming studios focus on creating gaming experiences for gamers, Revived Overworld offers gamers the opportunity to create their own. With no coding required, players can mold their experiences in Revive using Unreal Engine 5.

The asset creator is a tool that allows creators to design 3D elements such as building items and game creation elements. Created elements can be used in-game and placed on the NFT marketplace.

Creators will earn a share of the revenue from launching their games and experiences in the Revive metaverse.

Marketplace

The NFT marketplace is the trading center of the ecosystem. It allows users to find and buy items created by the platform and Revived community. Purchased items can be sold on other marketplaces like OpenSea and used in Realms to build.

The Team

Having partnered with industry giants like Wemix, SingularityDAO, G2A,, and DVerse, Revive Overworld is poised to lead Web3 gaming.

The team is led by Tomas Cichoki, the founder and producer of the first large-scale Minecraft tournament. Krzysztof Nowakowski is the Chief Gaming Officer with over ten years of experience in architecture and game design. Damian Gądziak is the Chief Blockchain Technology officer managing the team’s Web3 integration.

Conclusion

With the potential for over 400 million users in the niche multiplayer shooter games market, Revive Overworld is exceptional in its unique offerings. The expansive and diverse user base of the Revive world caters to not just gamers but builders, strategists, and arena combat enthusiasts.
