French Cognac producer Rémy Martin is partnering with R&B singer Usher to release limited-edition Cognac NFTs. The collection rolls out on July 29 exclusively on the liquor NFT marketplace BlockBar.
“Usher x Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal” will auction 25 NFTs that can be redeemed for physical bottles. The bottle design was created with the help of artificial intelligence, which mixed Usher’s music with his olfactory experience when tasting the cognac.

The price of an NFT bottle is $500 (0.36 ETH at the time of writing). Holders will have the option to redeem their NFTs for the physical bottles in October this year.
“I’m an artist at my core, so transforming an abstract sensory encounter like flavor into something visual spoke to my creative process. I leaned into the exemplary Rémy Martin 1738 Accord Royal that flowed through me and am so impressed by the visuals that came out of the A.I. process—they truly represent the medley of tasting notes captured in the flavor,” said Usher.
On a side note, the collection also includes 25 cognac bottles, not on sale. These will go to Usher and his team as they celebrate 25 years from the release of the singer’s “My Way” album.
BlockBar is an NFT marketplace that specializes in fine wines and liquors. The platform currently auctions 15 PATRÓN tequila NFTs, BAYC-branded “Monkey Shoulder” NFTs, and other exclusive liquors.
