In the nearest future, Dapper Labs plans to introduce a variety of utilities for holders. The utilities could include gamified collection challenges and other ownership experiences.

The collection was previously released by Dapper Labs in a Beta version in December. Following the success, fans were expecting its public release.

Dapper Labs is an NFT company founded in 2018. Among previous collections issued by the platform are NBA Top Shot, which gives inspiration to the new NFT collection, and UFC Strike. By the time of writing, Dapper Labs’ Top Shot collection has gained more than 1.5 million users and more than $1 billion in transactions.

“I think some of the pitfalls of what’s been going on in the Web3 world has been just short-term, lack-of-utility projects. We’re focused on the long term and enriching fan experiences as a whole.”

—The Senior VP of marketing and a former NFL vice president, David Feldman.
