This week’s fundraising updates for blockchain, Metaverse and tech companies.
April 25th
Mad Realities, an Entertainment company, has raised $6M. The seed round was led by Paradigm. Among other participants are Maveron, Long Journey, and 11:11 Media by Paris Hilton.
April 26th
Vertex Protocol, a DeFi startup based on Terra, has raised $8.5M. Among the investors are Hack VC, Dexterity Capital, Jane Street, Hudson River Trading, Collab+Currency, Huobi Ventures and GSR.
0x Labs has closed Series B financing round. The company raised $70M with participation of Greylock Partners, backed by Pantera, Sound Ventures, A.Capital, Jump Crypto, OpenSea, Coinbase, Brevan Howard, IOSG Ventures, Reid Hoffman, and Jared Leto.
GamerGains, the Play-2-Earn platform based on Solana, has raised $5.8M. The round was led by Cadenza Ventures, supported by FTX, Winklevoss Capital, BlockFi, Tiger Global, Alumni Ventures, Lightbank, and other investors.
Ola GG, the Hispanic Play-2-Earn community by Yield Guild Games’, has raised $8M in seed round. Among investors are Galaxy Interactive, BITKRAFT, Arca, Com2Us, Huobi Ventures, Spark Capital, BlockTower, IVC, Morningstar, Polygon, CryptoCom, YGG SEA, IndiGG, and Bitscale.
Tonic, a DeFi platform based on Near, has raised $5M. The round was led by Electric Capital and Move. Among other investors are dao5, Framework Ventures, NetZero Capital, Daedalus, and Bixin Ventures.
April 27th
Holograph, an NFT infrastructure protocol, has raised $6.5M in seed round. It was led by Courtside Ventures and Wave Financial, backed by Arca, Mirana, Kenetic, Avalaunch, and Infinity Crypto Ventures.
Snackclub, the sister company of LOUD, has raised $9M in seed funding. The investors are Animoca, Ascensive Assets, Formless Capital, Jump Crypto, Mechanism, OP Crypto and Shima Capital and others.
April 28th
OurSong, an NFT music platform, has raised $7.5M in seed funding. The round was led by Infinity Ventures and Animoca Brands. Among other investors are Circle Ventures, Cherubic Ventures, and FBG Capital.
Mangata Finance, a Decentralized exchange platform, has raised $4.2M. Among the investors are Altonomy, Polychain, TRGC, Signum Capital, Headline, Figment, ZMT Capital, AngelDAO, and Paribu Ventures.
Argent, the DeFi wallet, raised $40M in a Series B round. The round was led by Fabric Ventures and Metaplanet, backed by Paradigm, Index Ventures, Creandum, Starkware, Jump Crypto and Animoca Brands.
Apeiron, an NFT-based Play-2-Earn game, has raised $13.5M in seed round. Among the investors are Hashed, DeFiance Capital, Morningstar Ventures, Spartan Group, and DeFi Capital.
Venly, a blockchain wallet solution, closed $22M in Series A round. The round was led by Courtside Ventures, supported by Transcend Fund, Coinbase Ventures, Tioga Capital, and others.
