Hublot & Takashi Murakami to Create Watch NFT

Luxury Swiss watch brand Hublot has announced a collaboration with Takashi Murakami, a world famous Japanese artist whose most recognisable design is a smiling colourful flower. In 2021, The results of this relationship brought up IRL Hublot x Takashi Murakami watches, including a Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow Watch and Black Watches, that sold out really fast.

This year, the duet is going to release NFTs with Takashi’s designs that give access to purchasing the watches with the same design as the 2021 collab. The Hublot Classic Fusion Murakami Sapphire Rainbow is going to feature 108 units, 8 more than the original 2021 collection pieces, and the All Black model will be made up of 216 items instead of 200.

The NFTs represent the pixel version of both models. Only current owners of Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami Sapphire Rainbow watch or Hublot Classic Fusion Takashi Murakami All Black watch have an opportunity to claim the Hublot Classic Fusion Murakami NFTs. The brand will check the serial number of each watch, so the same person will not have any possibility two claim two or more NFTs instead of one.

Therefore, the owners have to register on Hublotista and own an Ethereum wallet account address.

The limited watch NFTs will be available for claim in May 2022.
