Horizen Has Collaborated With Ankr to Enhance the Accessibility and Scalability of EON
In Brief
Horizen has announced a strategic partnership with Ankr, a web3 infrastructure and cross-chain staking platform, making it the first Remote Procedure Call (RPC) provider for EON.
Horizen, a prominent layer-1 blockchain, has formed a strategic partnership with Ankr, a web3 infrastructure and cross-chain staking platform. This collaboration positions Ankr as the inaugural Remote Procedure Call (RPC) provider for EON.
EON is a pioneering sidechain in the Horizen ecosystem. Built on Horizen’s scaling protocol, Zendoo, EON is a smart contracting platform designed for Ethereum’s Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility.
Ankr’s role as the first RPC provider for EON would establish communication channels between programs on the EON platform. The partnership aims to enhance the accessibility, scalability, and reliability of the rapidly expanding EON ecosystem. This would enable users to access features such as decentralized finance (DeFi), gaming, and non-fungible tokens (NFTs).
By utilizing Ankr’s cutting-edge web3 infrastructure and high-performance RPC node infrastructure, the partnership plans to improve EON’s scalability and efficiency. It will allow EON to handle any load request, optimizing its performance and accessibility for both developers and end-users.
Ankr’s suite of developer tools, including the Liquid Staking SDK, Web3 Gaming SDK, and AppChains As a Service, would enable developers to create and deploy innovative, secure, and efficient decentralized applications (dapps) on EON.
Horizen’s EON ecosystem is currently live on Gobi, its permanent public testnet, bolstered by a network of products, integrations, and tools, now including the newly integrated Ankr services. This collaboration aims to introduce a wide range of dapps and services to the EON ecosystem.
Horizen infrastructure
EON, Horizen’s Zendoo, and Ankr’s web3 form a unique partnership. Their aim is to create a permissionless, customizable blockchain. This will allow cross-chain interoperability.
Rob Viglione, Horizen’s co-founder, is excited about the partnership. He believes the collaboration with Ankr will significantly improve EON’s ecosystem. This will offer immense value to developers and users.
Josh Neuroth, Ankr’s head of product, supports this view. He sees the collaboration as proof of Ankr’s commitment. The focus is on developers creating innovative, zero-knowledge based solutions.
This partnership between Horizen and Ankr aims to foster innovation and push the boundaries of smart contract technology, propelling the web3 space towards wider adoption.
