Understanding of Digital Nomad

In the early 1990s, the phrase “digital nomad” was used to characterize a new, high-tech way of life that involved traveling and was made feasible by the development of computer networking and the widespread usage of mobile devices such as laptops, tablets, and PDAs. Carl Malamud, in his 1992 book Exploring the Internet, spoke of a “digital nomad” who “travels the world with a laptop, setting up FidoNet nodes.” Mitch Ratcliffe and Andrew Gore’s handbook series, Digital Nomad’s Guide, was released by Random House in 1993. Time zone changes, the difficulty of locating an accessible internet connection, and the lack of a clear separation between work and leisure time are possible additional difficulties.
