The Trust Project is a worldwide group of news organizations working to establish transparency standards.

Paris Saint-Germain player Kylian Mbappé has joined football NFT platform Sorare. He is now an investor, a long-term ambassador, and a social impact partner of the project.
The collaboration aims to bring Sorare to millions of fans. “Kylian will accelerate our mission to unite sports fans across the globe around a player-owned gaming experience,” said Nicolas Julia, the founder of Sorare.
The partnership will include charity business training and web3 conferences for underprivileged groups. In addition, the companies will provide a special diploma for “Inspired By KM,” Kylian’s charity fund.
Sorare will also issue and auction exclusive Mbappé NFTs, donating proceeds from the sales to charity. “Kylian is more than a football player. He’s a global icon who carries strong values on and off the pitch,” said Nicolas Julia.
Sorare is a fantasy football NFT-backed game based on the Ethereum blockchain. Players can buy, sell, and trade collectible digital cards. The game currently offers more than 250 clubs’ cards. The game itself is based on real-time performances, so NFT holders earn points whenever a football star scores a goal in real life. Users can play online or on the Sorare app.
Other athletes who have invested in Sorare include Serena Williams, Rio Ferdinand, and Gerard Pique.
