Digital Art Platform DASVERSE Will Participate in Seoul Meta Week 2023, Operate a Special Experience Booth

Digital art platform DASVERSE will participate in the main conference of ‘Seoul Meta Week 2023’, ‘METACON’ on the 29 and 30 of this month, under the theme of ‘Connecting Virtuality and Reality through Art’.

Seoul Meta Week is the largest web3 & blockchain festival in Asia, consisting of conferences where industry-leading leaders and experts share insights on the latest trends and knowledge related to Web3, metaverse, NFTs, blockchain technology, exhibitions by leading domestic and international companies, expert workshops and networking with top industry players.

DASVERSE plans to provide a special booth where conference participants and visitors can directly experience ‘Art Metaverse (DASVERSE)’, which was launched in May, and the upcoming ‘Art OTT Streaming Service (Daily Art Story)’ scheduled for release in September 2023. They aim to showcase globally competitive technological prowess and differentiated art content to conference participants and visitors.

DASVERSE has developed the world’s first smart TV metaverse using ‘pixel streaming’ technology. Park Gil-hong, the CEO of DASVERSE, expressed his thoughts on participating in the METACON event, stating, “Our art metaverse, DASVERSE, delivers video to the TV through streaming, processing computing tasks on cloud servers, which means anyone can enjoy high-quality metaverse service with just a TV and remote control, without the need for high-spec graphics processing devices. Through DASVERSE, anyone can easily and conveniently view art masterpieces from world-renowned art museums like the Louvre on their TV.”

DASVERSE also plans to focus on discovering emerging artists. During an artist Opencall event earlier this year, over 300 artists gathered in just three weeks. They will host an ‘Artist Award’ ceremony in the first half of next year. The works of award-winning artists will be exhibited in DASVERSE’ metaverse and OTT service, allowing them to pursue their dreams as artists. They also plan to introduce blockchain technology to provide a secure trading platform for artworks, creating opportunities for artists to generate economic value.

Peter Park, CSO of DASVERSE, mentioned that lowering the threshold of art and making it easily accessible to the public, and establishing a global digital art cluster are DASVERSE’ two visions. He expressed the significance of Seoul Meta Week as an event where metaverse and blockchain industry leaders, CEOs, and industry professionals gather, showcasing the industry’s future value. He requested a lot of attention for DASVERSE’ future value as it is their first offline event.

Meanwhile, DASVERSE plans to unveil a new concept offline complex cultural space called ‘Art Complex’ that combines digital art and F&B (food and beverage) this year. It is rapidly growing as Asia’s leading digital art platform company.
