Crypto.com Adds a Generative AI Assistant to the Platform

Cryptocurrency exchange Crypto.com is the next platform to implement an artificial intelligence-powered tool. The company has announced the launch of “Amy,” a generative AI user assistant.
The virtual assistant is designed to serve as a crypto expert resource for average users. It is intended to help individuals track real-time token prices and projects. In addition, Amy can inform customers about industry insights, listings, and historical events in the crypto space.
“Amy” is backed by OpenAI’s viral chatbot ChatGPT technology. However, Crypto.com does not stop here, as the bot is also being trained with specific case examples.
The AI assistant is now available in the beta version to selected users. Individuals can find it on the “price” page of the cryptocurrency exchange’s website. According to the official announcement, more users will get access to the tool in the coming weeks. Notably, the platform will introduce Amy to more experiences in the future. For instance, Crypto.com mobile application users can expect the AI assistant to be implemented.
“As with other businesses and sectors, we see incredible potential and opportunity in the convergence of AI with the crypto industry and our platform specifically. We are excited to be testing this emerging technology through our Amy pilot project. We are bullish on the innovation of AI in crypto, and we look forward to continuing to enhance the utility of Amy and deploy additional AI-powered capabilities,” said the Global Head of Product at Crypto.com, Abhi Bisarya.
Binance is another cryptocurrency exchange that has recently added a generative AI assistant to its platform. Users can find it on Binance Academy, the exchange’s educational platform. The company’s bot is called “Binance Sensei” and facilitates users’ navigation on the platform, enabling an intuitive and fast search.
