Bubblemaps Raises €3M Seed Funding to Propel Blockchain Data Accessibility

In Brief
Blockchain data visualization platform Bubblemaps has raised €3M in a seed round led by INCE Capital.
The platform also offers features such as comprehensive blockchain history exploration, user-created bubble maps and insights powered by AI models.

Bubblemaps, a blockchain data visualization and supply auditing platform, has raised €3 million in seed funding. The round was led by INCE Capital and backed by VCs such as Momentum 6, Stake Capital, LBank Labs, V3ntures Fund, AVAX, Cronos Chain, PowerHasheur, and others.
Bubblemaps aims to make blockchain data available and understandable for both individual users and institutions through effective visuals. In addition to data visualization, the platform also serves as a supply auditing tool for DeFi tokens and NFTs.
The platform also offers features such as:
- Blockchain History Exploration: Users can delve into the entire history of blockchain transactions, enabling in-depth analysis and research.
- User-Created Bubble Maps: The platform allows users to create and share their own visual representations of blockchain data.
- Insights through AI Models: Bubblemaps employs artificial intelligence to provide unique insights into blockchain data.
Bubblemaps said that it played a role in uncovering a16z’s role in Uniswap’s governance. In February, the platform’s analysis revealed that a16z could control over 41.5 million UNI tokens across 11 wallets, equating to over 4% of the total token supply. This substantial holding enabled a16z to meet the necessary threshold for passing governance proposals.

Since its launch, the platform has established partnerships with various blockchain projects that share their vision for accessible on-chain data. These include Arbitrum, AVAX, BNB Chain, Cronos Chain, Fantom Foundation, and 0xPolygon.
Bubblemaps’ visuals are accessible on OpenseaPro, DEXToolsApp, and Coingecko.
The platform said it began raising funds after winning the startup competition at Paris Blockchain Week in March. It also announced a collaboration with a group of on-chain sleuths, including alpha_pls, Flowslikeosmo, DefiIgnas, Jake Pahor, and Louround. These individuals will contribute on-chain data to the platform.
