Community-driven blockchain ecosystem, BNB Chain announced the launch of the BNB Chain Memecoin Daily Airdrop Series. From December 12th to December 19th, the series will spotlight top memecoins each day by purchasing 33 BNB worth of their tokens and airdropping them to 1,000 lucky BNB and CAKE holders.
The event timeline includes the leaderboard launch on December 11th, followed by the eligibility address snapshot. The airdrop period will begin shortly after. Winners will be announced daily at 12:00 PM UTC, and the memecoin purchases will occur within 10 minutes of the announcement.
From December 12th to 14th, memecoins launched after October 1st will be eligible to participate. Starting on December 14th and lasting until December 19th, only memecoins launched after the event announcement will be allowed to take part.
Each day, the best-performing memecoin on BSC will be selected based on three key metrics: 24-hour trading volume (40%), market capitalization (30%), and price increase in a 24-hour period (30%).
The leaderboard, live from December 11th, will track these metrics in real-time, ensuring transparent competition. If a project claims the top spot, the BNB Chain team will purchase 33 BNB worth of that token and distribute it to 1,000 BNB and CAKE holders.
How BNB And CAKE Holders Can Participate In The Airdrop?
The airdrop is available to all BNB and CAKE holders who hold at least 1 BNB or 235 CAKE. Eligible wallet addresses must contain slisBNB, BNBx, stkBNB, ankrBNB, or Cake tokens. If these tokens are not already in the wallet, they must be added before the snapshot is taken.
Additionally, users can increase their chances of being selected for the airdrop by sharing a supported memecoin post and quoting it with #MemeOnBNB and their wallet address. Selected content will be featured daily, and wallet addresses associated with these posts will be added to the eligibility list.
After the snapshot, winners will be chosen randomly, ensuring equal opportunity for all holders to participate. Due to the large number of holders, 1,000 lucky addresses will be randomly selected to receive the airdrop. A Python script will be used to identify these 1,000 addresses, and a video of the selection process will be shared on Twitter.
