Play to own Project Eluüne: StarGarden expands to Polygon

Play-to-own social game StarGarden has announced its expansion to Polygon blockchain.
Project Eluüne: StarGarden, created by Call of Duty devs, was initially implemented within the Solana ecosystem. However, the company behind the project, Arrivant, opted for a more sustainable option. The social gaming-focused publisher announced a strategic partnership with Polygon and moved the game to its blockchain.
It’s worth noting that Polygon is also one of the investors in Arrivant’s seed round. Speaking of which – the company has recently finalized the round with $5 million. Led by C² Ventures, which invests in early-stage tech companies, the round was backed by 6th Man, Lightspeed, and others.
“We believe Polygon is building an environment well-suited to welcome the next generation of gamers into the space. While we are planning to become a cross-chain project serving players wherever they want to play – we are quite confident many of them will be choosing to play on Polygon,” says CEO and co-founder of Arrivant, Cedric Gamelin.

Project Eluüne: StarGarden is a free-to-play and play-to-own game designed around forming tribes. Users can choose from two kinds of gaming strategies. Moreover, StarGarden introduces a new approach to NFTs in the game. Players can use the tokens to collect, craft, and showcase their skills in the game.
“Project Eluüne: StarGarden is one of Web3’s stand-out titles that genuinely puts player experience, engagement, and innovation first,” said Urvit Goel, Head of Games BD at Polygon. “We are honored to welcome such a talented team to the Polygon family and excited to support Arrivant’s growth and enticing game design goals centered around meaningful new relationships between players.”
