Metaverse Game Studios, the developer of Far Cry, League of Legends, Diablo, and Immortal, has announced the release of the AAA Web3 game Angelic on ImmutableX.

“Angelic is a dark science fiction-themed RPG packed with narrative, collaboration, and turn-based strategy combat. Players can choose between a single-player story mode or a multiplayer metaverse where they can collaborate with factions and form guilds to establish control over space sectors, collect resources, craft weapons, and more,”

the game’s description reads.

The game, built on Unreal Engine 5, prioritizes creating vibrant and engaging gameplay to assure that “traditional gamers can enjoy it as much as web3-native players.” Players can also form guilds, collect resources, create weapons, and much more.

Angelic was previously deployed on the Ethereum and Solana blockchains, but ImmutableX’s ZK-rollup technology has taken the game to the next level. The technology ensures players have full ownership of their in-game assets, which are fully carbon-neutral. ImmutableX also offers quick, safe, and gas-free minting and an uninterrupted, high-quality gaming experience.

Metaverse Game Studios and ImmutableX have promised to reward every member of the Angelic community for their in-game contributions.

In the first quarter of 2023, Angelic will be in its alpha test phase, with the public launch planned for the second quarter.

In March, Metaverse Game Studios closed a $10 million investment round led by Animoca Brands, Everyrealm, and Pantera Capital, along with other blockchain investors.

ImmutableX is fond of innovations and is growing through its partnerships in the Web3 space. In June, the NFT game development studio teamed up with GET Protocol, the current market leader in NFT ticketing, to create a secondary ticket marketplace.
