Metaverse Fundraising Weekly Report #2
This week’s fundraising updates for blockchain, Metaverse and tech companies.
April 11th
Shrapnel, the game based on Avalanche, completed $7M token sale. Among the participants: Dragonfly, Three Arrows Capital, and angel investors, such as Keith Nunziata of Citadel Global Equities and Jason Zhao at Kleiner Perkins.
Volt Protocol, the DeFi startup raised $2M. Framework Ventures and Nascent are among investors.
April 12th
BloXroute raised $70M. Among the investors: Softbank Vision Fund 2, Dragonfly, Jane Street, Lightspeed, ParaFi and GSR.
Dapp cloud computing startup Socket Supply closed $3.5M round, lead by CoinFund and Galaxy Digital, with participation of Castle Island Ventures, PeerVC and 100 Acre Ventures.
P2E game Civitas raised $20M. Among the investors: Delphi Digital, Three Arrows Capital, Framework, Bitkraft, DeFiance Capital and Dialectic.
RociFi Labs, the DeFi on-chain credit scoring startup raised $2.7M. Arrington, Goldentree, Nexo, LD Capital and Skynet Trading are among investors.
Nomad, the interoperability startup, raised $22M in seed round at a $225M valuation.
The round was led by Polychain with participation from 1kx, Ethereal, Hack VC, Circle Ventures, Amber, Archetype, Lattice, A&T Capital, Hypersphere, Dialectic, Breyer Capital, Figment, LedgerPrime, Robot Ventures, Continue Capital, Wave Financial, Open Web Collective.
April 13th
App Context, the wallet tracking app, announced $19.5M seed round. The round was led by Variant Fund and OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, with participation of Lachy Groom and Dragonfly Capital.
