Mattel Rolls Out a Fast&Furious-Themed Hot Wheels NFT Collection

Mattel is set to release a Fast & Furious-themed Hot Wheels NFT collection.
The collection goes live on May 22 on Mattel Creations’ website.
Collectors will have the option to pay with credit cards.
American toy manufacturer Mattel announced the release of a Hot Wheels NFT collection based on Fast & Furious’ tenth movie, Fast X.
The collection includes limited-edition packs of non-fungible tokens, including Brian O’Conner’s 1969 Camero, Dominic Toretto’s 1970 Dodge Charger, and Suki’s Honda S2000 featured in Fast & Furious. it’s worth noting that NFT holders who collect all the car set by September 13, will receive physical a die-cast version of Suki’s car seen in 2 Fast 2 Furious.
One limited-edition pack will go for $20. The Hot Wheels NFT Garage x Fast & Furious collection will be available starting May 22 on Mattel Creations’ website. On a side note, Mattel has partnered with the Flow blockchain for this release. The user-friendly platform enables individuals to purchase non-fungible tokens by paying with credit cards. This way, Mattel bridges the digital world with IRL collectibles and allows fans to onboard seamlessly and easily.
Earlier this month, Mattel also released the Barbie x Boss Beauties collection inspired by the iconic Barbie toys. The collection features 250 types of Barbies created in Boss Beauties’ signature style. As the Hot Wheels release, the Barbie x Boss Beauties collection is available for minting on the Flow blockchain.
On 4 May, Mattel released Star Wars digital collectibles, called Cryptoys. These digital items allow owners to personalize their NFTs with different clothing and accessories.
Mattel launched its NFT marketplace in November 2022. The Hot Wheels NFT Garage collection was the first one to be featured on the platform.
