Mariah Carey issues an NFT for fans
Pop singer Mariah Carey has issued a 1/1 NFT called “Fly With Me” to celebrate her introduction to the Songwriters Hall of Fame. This is the very first time Mariah Carey has created an NFT, and the results are pretty impressive.
The NFT is an artwork that depicts a first-class Butterfly Airways boarding pass.
The lucky holder will gain special perks, including a flight on Mariah’s private jet from Atlanta to New York City, where the ceremony will occur. The winner will also get a two-night stay in a hotel in NYC and two tickets to the Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
Anyone interested in participating in the auction for this once-in-a-lifetime experience will need to use Geojam. It is a new social engagement platform that aims to build the creator economy of the future and increase engagement among stars and fans.
Fans can bid in Geojam’s $JAM token. At the time of writing, the highest bid is 658,000 JAM (approximately $5,000), and the auction will end on June 9. The Hall of Fame event will take place on June 15 and 16.
Mariah will donate the proceeds from the primary sale to Fresh Air Fund, which supports New York City’s children from underserved communities and Make-A-Wish America.
