HyperMint to release Alec Monopoly’s “Rags to Richie”
MoonPay is partnering with street artist Alec Monopoly to release the “Rags to Richie” collection on HyperMint.
MoonPay runs HyperMint, an NFT platform where users can mint, burn, and manage non-fungible tokens. Individuals can then easily deploy their tokens across multiple blockchains without third-party developers. According to HyperMint’s website, the action would take minutes.
“Rags to Richie” features 10,000 hand-drawn randomized NFTs. Alec Monopoly is the first creator to partner with the platform.
NFT holders will grant access to a Metaverse club, a play-to-earn NFT game, and a digital art gallery. Individuals will also receive invitations to exclusive IRL events and will have the opportunity to participate in million-dollar giveaways. After the launch of the project, Monopoly plans to host an immersive Metaverse party and do a live DJ set.
MoonPay CEO Ivan Soto-Wright says the HyperMint-Alec Monopoly collab “is a blueprint for the next phase of NFTs. Alec’s development of the Rags to Richie collection is a seamless blend of artistry and utility and unlocks a new path for audiences to create, explore, and play with art. We’re excited to work together and continue leading the NFT space forward.”
Users can purchase artwork with credit cards and minting begins in July.
