FVCKRENDER launches new perfume NFT collection
Crypto artist FVCKRENDER is partnering with fragrance brand D.S. & Durga to create its genesis NFT collection. Dubbed “Manticore Musk,” it will drop on July 18.
D.S. & Durga is a fragrance company established by David and Kavi Moltz. The duet collaborates with FVCKRENDER, also known as Frederic Duquette, to develop a collection of virtual and real-life scents. Frederic is a well-known artist in the NFT space who previously worked with Instagram, Puma, Spotify, Christian Dior, and other major companies.
The collection includes 5,555 NFTs featuring artwork by FVCKRENDER. 3,333 NFTs are reserved for the holders of FVCK_CRYSTALS, Duquette’s earlier NFT collection. 111 NFTs will go to D.S. & Durga clients, who have not yet been onboarded into the NFT ecosystem. And 505 Scentlist spots will be distributed amongst “selected communities.”
The remaining non-fungible perfumes will be available at the public mint for 0.11 ETH (approximately $125 at the time of writing). Importantly, users will be able to mint a maximum of 10 NFPs per transaction.
Along with the artwork, the NFTs will bring utilities to holders. For instance, the owners will grant access to virtual spaces, Discord chats, and LVCIDIA, a gaming platform developed by FVCKRENDER. They will also have an opportunity to participate in real-life events, such as scent parties. Moreover, NFT ownership will grant individuals a one-time claim for limited-edition physical pocket-sized fragrances.
