The global luxury fashion platform Farfetch and web3 investor Outlier Ventures announce the second edition of the fashion-focused accelerator program, Dream Assembly Base Camp.
The upcoming cohort will focus on luxury data infrastructure, community tools, self-representation, sustainability, and digital fashion experiences.
The 12-week program will take place remotely. Participants will have direct access to a network of over 200 web3 and fashion experts and well-known investors who will support their future fundraising efforts. More than that, selected startups will receive $150,000 in funding in return for 7.5% equity and 7.5% future token supply.
Among the mentors of this cohort are Jamie Burke of Outlier Ventures, Daria Shapovalova of DressX, and Meghan Kaspar of Red DAO.
Over 260 fashion-focused startups have applied for the program. Farfetch and Outlier Ventures have selected six teams to participate in the cohort. These include Decommerce, which enables brands to host, engage, and reward their communities; rewards infrastructure Me Protocol; digital pay and loyalty rewards platform Nettle; commerce infrastructure developer Solaire; web3 commerce enabler SPIN by Lablaco, which offers on-chain digital experience in AR and VR; Wovn, which provides customer engagement tools; and Numbers Protocol, a blockchain solution that offers transparent tracking, authentication, and provenance for digital media.
As the fashion industry introduces web3-related initiatives, these companies will most probably shape the future of web3 luxury commerce.
We have been blown away by the exceptional quality and diversity of startups applying to our program this cycle. The level of maturity and progress of the ecosystem has taken a significant step forward, and the companies joining us are creating innovative tools and experiences that will greatly support the Web3 opportunities for the luxury sector.
said the Senior Director of Product Innovation at Farfetch, Carol Hilsum.
This is the second edition of Farfetch and Outlier Ventures’ fashion accelerator program. In 2022, the Dream Assembly Base Camp program covered NFTs and community strategy, luxury commerce, token design and economics, and product roadmap. Farfetch and Outlier Ventures had selected eight startups: Metav.rs, Reblium, Altr, WearNFT, Mintouge, Iindyverse, Sknups, and Curie.
