Cyberpunk Gaming Metaverse Pixelverse Pulls in $5.5M From Top VCs After Amassing Over 15M Users in Just 1 Month
Leading VC companies and prominent investors from the Web3 and gaming industries helped Pixelverse, a multimedia studio and gaming environment, secure $5.5 million in a fundraising round. With over 15 million registered players in only its first month, Pixelverse’s playing environment is expanding quickly, and this funding will be utilized to fuel that growth.
With its cyberpunk browser and Telegram games, Pixelverse has seen unheard-of growth, with over 15 million signed-up users and over 5 million daily active users. Because of its quick uptake, Pixelverse is now regarded as a pioneer in the Web3 gaming space.
Over 10 million bouts take place in PixelTap, the Telegram mini-app from Pixelverse, each day. With several minigames and engaging storylines, the browser-based Pixelverse universe is expected to grow. New details will be released shortly.
Pixelverse is leading the way in the Tap-to-Earn approach. Being known as “the NotCoin of gaming,” is a platform that sits at the intersection of GameFi and SocialFi.
Among the notable investors in this round are Foresight Ventures, Ghaf Capital, Bitscale Capital, Delphi Ventures, Merit Circle, LiquidX, and Big Brain Holdings. Notable private investors James Kwon, Luca Netz, Dingaling, DCF GOD, Grail, and co-founder of The Sandbox Sébastien Borget also took part.
Former member of the Binance Listing team and COO of Pixelverse, Kori Leon, said that in her time at Binance, she has never seen a firm reach such impressive adoption figures in such a short amount of time. According to her, Pixelverse is transforming the adoption of Web3, and the company’s significant community involvement and user base growth are astounding. She continued by saying that with the financing, they will be able to forward their adoption plan and firmly establish themselves as the world’s leading center for gaming and entertainment, not just in the Web3 arena.
Delphi Ventures’ partner, Piers Kicks, noticed that the company was excited to help Pixelverse use Telegram’s reach to generate a significant amount of audience interaction. He said that the community’s input, along with the team’s understanding of the industry, created the foundation for an exciting and ambitious plan that year.
