Binance signs multi-year partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo
The largest cryptocurrency exchange Binance announced the partnership with football player Cristiano Ronaldo.
The multi-year deal will bring football fans a new kind of experience. Binance plans to build on existing collaborations with sports clubs S.S. Lazio (IT), FC Porto (PT), the Brazilian Football Confederation, and the Argentine Football Association.
“Nothing is more important to me than the fans, so the idea of bringing unprecedented experiences and access through this platform is something that I wanted to be a part of. I know the fans are going to enjoy the collection as much as I do,” said Ronaldo.
The first NFT collection will include designs created in partnership with Cristiano. It is set to launch later this year.
“Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the world’s best footballers, and has transcended sport to become an icon in multiple industries. He has amassed one of the world’s most dedicated fan bases through his authenticity, talent, and charity work. We are thrilled to provide his fans with exclusive engagement opportunities to connect with Ronaldo and own a piece of iconic sports history,” said Changpeng Zhao, the CEO and Founder of Binance.
The collection will be available exclusively on the Binance NFT platform. Registered Binance users from a selected list of countries will be able to purchase the collections via Binance Pay.
