Arbitrum

Arbitrum $ARB Airdrops are special occasions when pre-existing token holders receive free tokens. They provide cryptocurrency initiatives with a means to rewarding their devoted supporters.

What’s Arbitrum?

For the Ethereum blockchain, Arbitrum is a Layer 2 scaling solution that enables quick smart contract transactions while lowering transaction costs. By assigning sophisticated computing responsibilities, such transaction processing and data storage, to the second chain, Layer 2 solutions are able to grow the foundational Layer 1 blockchain. The data is stored on the Layer 1 blockchain, while the smart contract is executed on the Layer 2 blockchain. In the context of Ethereum, Arbitrum manages batching and blockchain transaction processing, lowering network congestion and expenses.

Blockchain rollups are used by Abritrum’s Layer 2 solution to provide effective transaction processing. Rollups handle transactions off-chain and settle them on-chain using a two-layer architecture. The advantage is that a “rolled up” batch of transactions may be directly confirmed by the blockchain, eliminating the need for individual transaction validation.

Guide to receive this airdrop

  1. Prepare Your Ethereum Wallet: Ensure you have access to an Ethereum wallet that supports the connection to external websites. Metamask is a commonly used option, but any wallet compatible with Ethereum should work.

  2. Visit the Arbitrum Airdrop Website: Open your web browser and navigate to the official Arbitrum airdrop website.

  3. Connect Your Wallet: On the Arbitrum airdrop website, locate the option to connect your Ethereum wallet. Click on it, and select your preferred wallet from the list of supported options. Follow the prompts to connect your wallet securely.

  4. Check Eligibility: Once your wallet is connected, click on the “Check Eligibility” button. The website will verify your eligibility for the ARB token airdrop based on predetermined criteria.

  5. Confirmation of Eligibility: If you meet the eligibility criteria, a message will appear confirming your eligibility for the Arbitrum airdrop. This message will prompt you to proceed with claiming your tokens.

  6. Start Claiming: Click on the “Start Claiming” button to initiate the claiming process.

  7. Choose Delegate or Delegate to Yourself: In this step, you will decide whether to delegate the management of your ARB tokens to someone else or delegate to yourself. Choose the option that best suits your preferences and requirements.

  8. Select Delegate & Claim: After deciding whether to delegate or not, click on the “Claim & Delegate” button to proceed.

  9. Transaction Signing: Your wallet will prompt you to sign two transactions: one for claiming the ARB tokens and another for delegating or self-delegating. Follow the instructions provided by your wallet interface to sign these transactions securely.

  10. Confirmation of Transactions: After signing both transactions, wait for confirmation from the Ethereum network. This process may take a few moments depending on network congestion.

  11. Token Deposit: Once the transactions are confirmed, the ARB tokens will be deposited into your connected Ethereum wallet. This process typically occurs shortly after completing the previous steps.

  12. Verify Token Deposit: To ensure the successful receipt of your ARB tokens, check your Ethereum wallet for the presence of the tokens. They should appear in your wallet balance once the transaction is confirmed.
