Arbitrum
Arbitrum $ARB Airdrops are special occasions when pre-existing token holders receive free tokens. They provide cryptocurrency initiatives with a means to rewarding their devoted supporters.
What’s Arbitrum?
For the Ethereum blockchain, Arbitrum is a Layer 2 scaling solution that enables quick smart contract transactions while lowering transaction costs. By assigning sophisticated computing responsibilities, such transaction processing and data storage, to the second chain, Layer 2 solutions are able to grow the foundational Layer 1 blockchain. The data is stored on the Layer 1 blockchain, while the smart contract is executed on the Layer 2 blockchain. In the context of Ethereum, Arbitrum manages batching and blockchain transaction processing, lowering network congestion and expenses.
Blockchain rollups are used by Abritrum’s Layer 2 solution to provide effective transaction processing. Rollups handle transactions off-chain and settle them on-chain using a two-layer architecture. The advantage is that a “rolled up” batch of transactions may be directly confirmed by the blockchain, eliminating the need for individual transaction validation.
