AI-Powered Web3 Developer Platform AirStack Raises $7M Pre-Seed Funding
In Brief
Airstack provides Web3 data APIs for builders.
The platform’s AI engine enables developers to search for cross-chain data across blockchains and projects using complex natural language.
Developers can also query, combine, and integrate on-chain, off-chain, cross-chain, and cross-dApp data and integrate it into any application.
AI-powered web3 developer platform Airstack has raised $7 million in a pre-seed round led by Superscrypt, an early-stage web3 company founded by Singapore’s state holding company Temasek.
Participants in the round include Hashed Emergent, NGC Ventures, UOB Venture, Signum Capital, WWVentures, Kyber Ventures, Perridon Ventures, and more.
Airstack provides Web3 data APIs for builders with its AI engine. It enables developers to search for cross-chain data across blockchains and projects using complex natural language in English. For instance, users can simply enter a prompt like ”show all members of OrangeDAO on Polygon and their ENS and all of their web3 social accounts.” The engine will then generate an API that developers can integrate into any web2 or web3 app without additional infrastructure.
According to Airstack CEO Jason Goldberg, the platform debuted last month at ETH Tokyo and has already amassed more than 200 developers building on it. Projects leveraging Airstack include marketing engines, CRM tools, ad platforms, DeFi portfolio optimizers, decentralized social apps, messaging apps, and token-gated membership solutions.
In an industry-first, the platform also enables developers to simultaneously query and combine data across major web3 identity and social platforms, including ENS Domains, Lens Protocol, Farcaster, and all NFT projects on Ethereum and Polygon.
Alongside its funding announcement, AirStack has also updated its proprietary social app, Jam, built on the Farcaster web3 social protocol. Available on iOS and Android, Jam features a similar user interface to Twitter. Prominent web3 figures on Jam include Vitalik Buterin, Farcaster co-founder and ex-Coinbase director Varun Srinivasan, and Coinbase Protocols lead Jesse Pollak.
