VeeFriends Taps Snoop Dogg for a Music Track and an Exclusive Experience

Entrepreneur and rapper Snoop Dogg partners with Gary Vaynerchuk’s NFT collection VeeFriends.
On April 25, Snoop Dogg and VeeFriends published a video featuring the rapper and Gary Vee. It showcases Snoop registering a song in the studio, with Vaynerchuk expressing his emotions about how great the track is.
The upcoming song is called “Please Take a Step Back.” The cover includes both entrepreneurs’ faces designed in a colorful pop-art style. According to the promotional video, the track drops on Friday, April 28, under Snoop Dogg’s label Death Row Records. It’s worth noting that fans can already pre-save it.
In addition to the release, VeeFriends has introduced a multi-phase experience on Burn Island, the brand’s token-burning platform that allows individuals to redeem NFTs for benefits.
Once the song is released, holders of VeeCon 2022 NFT tickets will be able to burn them in exchange for “Please Take a Step Back” NFTs. Following this, VeeFriends will launch a competition that will grant players a chance to win one of the blue-chip non-fungible tokens from Gary Vee’s collection. The final phase of the burning event includes burning the token from the “Please Take a Step Back” collection in exchange for a ticket to Snoop Dogg and Wiz Khalifa’s High School Reunion Concert in Atlanta.
VeeFriends is a non-fungible token collection created by Gary Vaynerchuk’s company Vayner3, previously known as VaynerNFT. It includes 10,300 hand-drawn images of animals, humans, words, and other traits. VeeFriends is known for collaborations with traditional companies and its physical drops. For instance, in October 2022, the brand partnered with department store Macy’s and toy company Toys“R” Us to launch NFT-themed real-life collectibles. In December, VeeFriends launched a collection of physical apparel featuring motivational phrases and characters from the NFT project.
