Rappers Vic Mensa and Keyon Christ launch music NFT

Rappers Vic Mensa and Keyon Christ, Kanye West collaborators, have dropped music NFT of their new single “Ying Yang Twins.”

Source: Zora.

Mensa and Christ offer fans song NFTs, available on Zora for 0.0888 ETH. In addition to the drop itself, the musicians have launched a remix contest. NFT holder that creates the best “Ying Yang Twins” remix will win 4.20 ETH.

Individuals can use the stem player on the remix platform Keon to create loops and expand the song remixing experience. The platform features Spores remix technology, offering features like change mode, voice, loop, pitch up and down, shutter and space, wobble, gate, and many others. Overall, Spores offers 50 sounding stems to remix the track.

The platform is powered by Zora, a decentralized auction protocol for NFTs on Ethereum. Previously, Zora has collaborated with electronic music duo Disclosure, female group Pussy Riot, Toro y Moi, and others.

It’s worth noting that anyone can try remixing “Ying Yang Twins” for free. Individuals can sign in here and use five stems out of 50.

Fans can mint the NFTs until July 9 on a dedicated website
