Centrifuge And IOSG Partner To Accelerate Institutional Tokenization As Demand For RWAs Grows Across Asia
In Brief
Centrifuge and IOSG partner to expand institutional tokenization in Asia, supporting adoption of onchain investment products and RWAs.

Tokenized RWA platform Centrifuge has announced a strategic partnership with IOSG Ventures aimed at accelerating institutional adoption of tokenized financial products across Asia. The collaboration brings together Centrifuge’s infrastructure for issuing and managing tokenized investment products with IOSG’s network of institutional investors, financial organizations, and digital asset participants throughout the region.
The partnership comes as interest in tokenized assets continues to expand across Asia. Regulatory developments in key financial centers, particularly Hong Kong, have contributed to growing institutional exploration of blockchain-based investment products. At the same time, financial institutions in Japan and South Korea, along with family offices and licensed investment platforms across the region, have shown increasing interest in tokenization as a means of accessing and distributing traditional financial assets on blockchain networks.
Under the agreement, the two firms plan to support banks, asset managers, and regulated financial institutions seeking to bring investment funds and real-world assets onchain. Centrifuge will provide its tokenization technology and fund management infrastructure, while IOSG will contribute its regional expertise, institutional relationships, and distribution capabilities.
The initiative is expected to focus on expanding access to tokenized investment products and helping institutions navigate the evolving regulatory landscape surrounding digital assets. Through IOSG’s presence in markets including Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Singapore, the partnership aims to introduce Centrifuge’s tokenization solutions to a broader range of organizations evaluating blockchain-based financial products.
Expanding Institutional Access to Tokenized Assets Across Asia
The companies also plan to engage with regulators, industry participants, and distribution platforms as part of a broader regional strategy. Planned activities include institutional discussions, industry roundtables, and efforts to integrate tokenized investment products into selected platforms connected to IOSG’s network.
The announcement builds on an existing relationship between the two organizations that began in 2021, when IOSG became an early investor in Centrifuge. At the time, tokenization of real-world assets remained a relatively early-stage concept within digital finance. IOSG later participated in Centrifuge’s $15 million financing round in 2024, supporting the continued development of the company’s tokenization and fund management infrastructure.
Alongside the new partnership, IOSG has further increased its investment exposure to Centrifuge through additional purchases in the open market. The investment firm described its continued support as a reflection of confidence in the long-term growth of institutional onchain finance and the role tokenization may play in modern capital markets.
The partnership reflects a broader trend toward the integration of traditional financial assets with blockchain-based infrastructure. As tokenized assets move beyond experimental use cases and attract greater institutional participation, companies providing the underlying technology and distribution networks are increasingly positioning themselves to support the next phase of market development. Centrifuge and IOSG expect the collaboration to contribute to the expansion of tokenized asset adoption across Asia’s evolving financial ecosystem.
