According to Gate US’s official announcement, the platform now supports USD balances for trading, as well as USD Wire deposits and withdrawals.

Verified customers in eligible US jurisdictions can transfer larger amounts directly from a US bank account held in their own name using USD Wire. This method offers higher transfer limits than standard card-based or app-based payment options.
Users can also withdraw USD balances to the same verified bank account, subject to applicable limits and processing requirements.
To access the service, customers can open the Gate US App, navigate to Wallet, select USD, and follow the instructions. They should include the unique reference code provided during the transfer process to ensure their funds are correctly matched to their accounts.
Gate US continues to expand its regulatory presence, holding 37 state Money Transmitter Licenses (MTLs) and serving customers across 47 states and territories.
USD deposits and withdrawals are available only in selected US jurisdictions and are not available to residents of Colorado, Hawaii, Missouri, New Jersey, Utah, or Wyoming.

According to Gate’s latest Institutional Weekly Report, the cryptocurrency market experienced a period of orderly deleveraging between October 19 and 25.
During this period, BTC and ETH declined by 2.42% and 3.37%, respectively. Despite the market correction, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded approximately $301 million in net inflows.
Gate TradFi also maintained strong activity, with weekly trading volume returning to more than $110 billion.
Meanwhile, on-chain trading activity, stablecoin supply, and lending volumes declined. Borrowing rates and volatility indicators remained relatively stable, suggesting that the latest reduction in market exposure was primarily driven by participants actively adjusting their positions rather than clear signs of liquidity stress.
Institutional demand for efficient trading and cross-market execution continued to grow.
Gate CrossEx recorded a 200% increase in trading volume compared with the previous reporting period, reaching an all-time high. The platform also expanded its capabilities by adding support for Lighter futures and integrating real stock and ETF trading.
