Blocktrace Unveils Robby, an AI Chatbot That Tracks Bitcoin Transactions

Blocktrace, a blockchain forensic and analytics startup, has recently unveiled its latest project, Robby the Robot. The AI-powered robot interacts with the Bitcoin blockchain, providing accurate and efficient answers to Bitcoin-related questions.
The company’s founder Shaun MaGruder stated that Blocktrace has a complete copy of the Bitcoin blockchain’s data in the database. Its application features a natural language model, allowing users to converse with a virtual assistant using natural language.
MaGruder explained that users could quickly request specific information, such as transactions between certain dates and amounts. This saves time compared to the manual process of using a blockchain explorer, which can take up to two hours.
Blocktrace’s ultimate goal is to use OpenAI technology to enable users and investigators to quickly locate Bitcoin addresses and identify transactions on the network with accuracy and detail.
The early access beta registration for Robby is currently open. Blocktrace hopes to gradually deploy the natural language processor to its clients to make the blockchain analysis process faster, more efficient, and, ultimately, more effective.
Blocktrace’s custom-built tools provide real-time monitoring of cryptocurrency networks, allowing for detailed analysis of all blockchain transactions. The five-year-old company offers investigation services, providing expert analysts to assist with understanding and guidance. Blocktrace also delivers hands-on training to quickly get teams up to speed on blockchain technology and crypto transactions.
