Beeple Partners with VeeFriends to Drop Exclusive NFTs to Gift Goat Holders

Owners will also receive printed versions of the artwork in the fall of 2023.
Gary Vaynerchuk’s non-fungible token project VeeFriends has partnered with renowned digital artist Mike Winkelmann, known as Beeple, to airdrop NFTs to Goat holders.
On May 22, 2022, Beeple created an artwork featuring Vaynerchuk as a goat. The piece, dubbed “GIFT GOAT,” made part of the artist’s “EVERYDAYS” series. As of today, Beeple has released approximately 6,000 “EVERYDAYS” artworks, having created one per day for nearly 6,000 consecutive days.
On May 15, “GIFT GOAT,” designed in Beeple’s sarcastic style, was airdropped to 555 VeeFriends Gift Goats holders and 555 Beeple collectors.
VeeFriends is a collection of 10,300 NFTs, including hand-drawn images of animals, humans, and words. It also features special tokens of goats, which grant holders access to exclusive airdrops and gifts. This time, lucky goat holders receive artworks by Beeple and the physical version of the collectible. The printed designs are expected to be delivered in the fall of 2023.
Beeple and Gary Vaynerchuk’s fans that did not receive the airdrop can purchase the artwork on a secondary sales platform, such as OpenSea. At the moment of writing, the floor price of the “Beeple X VeeFriends” collection on the secondary market is 1.1 ETH (approximately $1,998). 42.72 ETH of volume has been traded since the artworks were airdropped on May 15.
Notably, this is the twelfth “Gift Goat” airdrop of the season. Last year, VeeFriends partnered with the Scotch whiskey brand Johnnie Walker to gift NFT holders limited-edition bottles of blue-label whiskey customized with the VeeFriends logo, images, and the number.
The NFT project also collaborated with artist FrankyNines, who released an exclusive artwork collection for Goat holders. Lucky individuals also received all-weather Duck Boots from the fashion brand Huckberry.
