Azra Games to release “The Hopeful” NFT collection
Web3 gaming studio Azra Games announces the launch of NFTs on Magic Eden’s Launchpad. The collection entitled “The Hopeful” comes out on September 28.
Azra Games is the video game studio behind “Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes.” The company is currently building a new sci-fi collectible and combat role-playing game, “Legions & Legends.”
The upcoming non-fungible tokens will serve as “Play Forever Passes” for Azra Games’ future gaming universe. Coming in different versions, each NFT will serve as proof of the “V.I.P. status” within the game.
“The Hopeful” will feature a total of 5,555 profile-picture-styled digital artworks minted on the Ethereum blockchain.
Besides the V.I.P. status, the NFT holders will also have exclusive benefits, including early beta access to the studio’s games and private Discord channels.
“Azra’s first NFT art collection is inspired by the pioneering spirit of the web3 community and the shared aspiration of hope for the promise of web3. Our collection’s name The Hopeful reflects both that promise and the spirit. The graphic novel art style is a tribute to the golden age of comics where Azra’s Paul Martin, a former Marvel comic artist, led the finaling style. We are excited to partner with Magic Eden to bring our mint to all the crypto hopefuls,”
said the CEO and founder of Azra Games, Mark Otero.
It’s worth noting that in May this year, Azra Games raised $15 million in a seed round led by a16z and NFX. As stated in the releases, the funds will be used for the development of immersive game universes, including “Legions & Legends.”
